Update 2/21/2012 From Matt:
This shade was made by Lamb Bros & Greene. It's an early design from the beginning of their production. Not sure how long they made it, but they started building lamps in 1909 first at George Lamb's factory. This chandelier is featured in Catalog #1. They moved to a new location in 1910 and output expanded rapidly. The shield and red stripe are medieval heraldry symbolizing "protect this home".
