American Leaded Glass Table Lamp
Most unusual lamp with leaded glass shade inspired by Mother Nature. The 20 inch shade features a dragonfly, a butterfly and a bird hovering a field of colorful flowers trimmed with a skirt of warm golden amber glass. Mounted over the shade is a detachable cast metal dome displaying life size teasel blossoms and foliage with the addition of small frogs and a few snails here and there about the apron. The base resembles a mature tree, a woodland vine wrapping the trunk and has a root system covered by leaf debris attracting several snails on the domed foot. Combined height is 28 inches. This lamp is a bit hefty, weighing in at a whopping 65 pounds! There are three pieces of glass missing at the apex of the shade and a few glass sections are loose. The shade attaches to four serpentine arms via screws. The four light sockets have Weber paddle switches. Unmarked but well constructed.
