Tiffany Studios, Favrile Glass and Bronze Laburnum Chandelier, 1899-1920

From the Sotheby's sale of items from the estate of John Mecom, April 1995.

The bulging domical shade with an allover pattern of pendent laburnum blossoms in mottled and striated amber and lemon-yellow and pale green opalescent glass, the leafage in bright green, mottled blue-green and lime-green opalescent and striated glass reversed against a fractured glass ground in opalescence striated with emerals green, has finial, chains and ceiling cap, unsigned. Diameter 27 1/2".

Withdrawn prior to auction, lamp made by Paul Crist Studios.
