This lamp appeared in Christies December 1998 auction. "An
Important Oriental Poppy, 79" High, 26.5" diameter of the shade
with pigtail finial the shade tag stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1902,
the base stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 375. Provenance: Joel Shur,
Literature Alistair Duncan, 1992."
