Tiffany Studios, Snowball Cone Chandelier, 1899-1920

This lamp appeared in Sotheby's December 1989 auction of items from the Collection of Arnold King and Hank Helfand.

The sharply conical shade with an allover pattern of full-blown snowball blossoms in opalescent rippled and striated glass mottled with emerald green and sea green and opalescent leafage striated with cobalt blue, emerald green and wintergreen, reserved against a partially fractured glass ground in translucent pale mauve striated with opalescence and lemon yellow, pendant from a collar pierced with squares and rectangles, has original chains and light cluster and beaded border.
