Tiffany Studios, Black Eyed Susan Cone Chandelier, 1899-1920

This lamp appeared in Sotheby's June 1996 auction of items from the Collection of Roy Warshawsky.

The broad conical shade with an allover pattern of undulating black-eyed Susan blossoms, buds and leafage, the flowerheads in golden-amber opalescent ripple glass, the centers in deep umber glass, the leafage in various shades of green and white striated and mottled opalescent glass, against a ground of moss green shading to bright green and white striated and opalescent glass, the lower rim with three rows of brickwork, pendent from three chains about a central standard, impressed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 614-2.
