Chapman Company, Lily Leaded Glass Table Lamp

Several examples of this Chapman designed shade have surfaced sporting the small Amboy aperture. The shade diameter is 17 1/2". This example however carries the 3" aperture known to be a characteristic of Chapman. We have yet to see an Amboy shade with a 3" diameter aperture which makes this a strong attribution to Chapman. The pattern repeats 6 times and appears identical to other known versions. Other versions of this shade have surfaced on Chapman bases, the rope twist and the rectangular mission base.

The base in the first image below is another Chapman Company discovery. It is likely an adaption of another base in the Chapman archive.
