American Arts and Crafts Leaded Glass Chandelier
Approx 21 1/2" square and 9 inches high. The rare Arts & Crafts chain can extend to over 38".
A most rare and original Arts & Crafts Mission shade. Unsigned but with the quality of Gustav Stickly or Limbert. Old signed original socket, undecipherable. Chain is interlocking mission style copper. Each piece snaps into the one below

This shade was made by Lamb Bros & Greene. It's an early design from the beginning of their
production. Not sure how long they made it, but they started building lamps in 1909 first at George
Lamb's factory. This chandelier is featured in Catalog #1. They moved to a new location in 1910
and output expanded rapidly. The shield and red stripe are medieval heraldry symbolizing "protect this home".
