Suess Ornamental Glass Company - Red Peony Table Lamp

Suess table lamp has leaded glass shade with allover floral decoration. The five-petaled flowers are done in rich pink and red glass with yellow centers and green leaves surrounding. All set against a textured amber opalescent background.

The shade rests on a Suess base with vertically ribbed foot, three-socket cluster, and cast heat cap with teardrop vent holes. Shade and base are unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 17-1/4" dia. Lamp is 21" t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent.

Ed. 2 colors known so far in this size and pattern, this red and this yellow. Style 427 in the 1906 catalog.
