Wilkinson Floral Leaded Glass Lamp

Domical shade has a slight tuck-under to its design. Large background panels of yellow striated glass are accentuated by Oriental poppies in various stages of bloom in colors of crimson, orange, pink and yellow having green multishaded stems and leaves. Shade also has a band of pink and blue striated glass at aperture and is finished at apron with four rows of geometric glass in white and rum colors. Shade is supported by a highly stylized Art Nouveau base carrying a complimentary floral pattern from platform up the stem. Base is finished with three sockets and pull chains. Shade and base have the locking pins which are the trademark of Wilkinson Co. Brooklyn, New York. Shade may be further referenced in the book Mosaic Shades Vol. II by Paul Crist, page 259.

SIZE: Shade is 22" dia. Lamp is 30" t.

CONDITION: Minor restoration to patina leadwork on shade as well as several tight hairline with no missing glass. Base is very good with some minor wear to finish. Base plate is an old replacement.
