Kimberly Poppy Leaded Lamp
Bronze base with velvet wrapped stem, the conical shade with red poppy motif on light blue ground. {Approximate dimensions: 24" high x 22" diameter.}.
Ed. In Paul Crist's coverage in Mosaic Shades V2, the 1913 catalog from the Electric Shop in Chicago includes this lamp. The lamps featured, all carry a 2 digit prefix to the stock number identifying the maker. While the familiar D&K lamps all carry the same prefix, (25) this one has a different number (26) suggesting it is a Kimberly and not D&K. Since D&K were bankrupt 2 years earlier in 1911, it's more than likely that this amazing lamp is in fact by Kimberly.
